Our history

• Founded in 1990 – our daycare center was located on Drummond street;
• Workplace center priority for Rio Tinto employees;
• Underwent expansion in 2005 from a permit of 30 to 45 spaces for children 6 months to 5 years old;
• A “Home away from Home” environment for LPE families;
• We view the child as competent, powerful and full of resources;
• LPE is headed by wonderful staff eager to unlock both the imagination and the budding intellect of young children;
• A bilingual educational program that is adapted for infants, toddlers’ and preschool children according to their age and development.
• Our unique curriculum is inspired by High/Scope, Reggio Emilia and Montessori approach – a unique curriculum giving the children the freedom, guidance and joy of learning in ways that are meaningful to them;
• Relocated in April 2016 to our new location downtown on Ave. des Canadiens de Montréal in an ultra modern, Zen and bilingual urban oasis;
• An expansion and increase of our permit to 80 spaces as of June 22nd, 2022.
